Professor Robyn MARTIN (Visiting Period: 1 December – 5 December 2008)
Professor Martin, Professor of Public Health Law at the Centre for Research in Primary and Community Care at the University of Hertfordshire, and Visiting Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong had visited the School of Public Health from 1 December to 5 December 2008.Given Professor Martin’s expertise and mass experience in the field of law, the School of Public Health had invited Professor Martin to deliver  nine lectures  on Public Health Law (PBH 8000) during her stay in Hong Kong.

Professor Liming LI (Visiting Period: 29 December – 30 December 2008)
Professor Li, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, will be visiting the School of Public Health from 29 December to 30 December 2008.  During Professor Li’s visit, he will be giving a lunch time seminar on “Public Health Reforms in China” on 30 December 2008 and engage in discussion about the Symposium on Future Directions for Public Health Education for Multi-Disciplinary Public Health Practice: Visions for Future in February 2009 to be held at the School of Public Health at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Professor Sheila HILLIER (Visiting Period: 10 February – 24 February 2009)
Professor Sheila Hillier, Professor of Barts & the London School of Medicine & Dentistry Queen Mary at University of London, will be giving four lectures on Methodology and Approaches in Qualitative Studies and Field Work (PBH 7007), and one lecture on Medical Sociology (PBH 7909) for the Master of Public Health Programme during her visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
